Becoming a full member obvioiusly helps us, as your subscription adds to our funds, supporting our Information and Support Services, this website and much more. But we know being disabled can be an expensive business, so if you are unable to subscribe now, why not become a Friend of CMT UK, which is free?
The only condition of becoming a friend is that you have an email address, as all communications will be done via email.
In both cases, once you’ve clicked “Submit”, further information will be displayed on what happens next.
And if you’re any doubt as to what the difference is between the two categories, you can find out here:

Protection of your personal information (data) is central of everything we do. Whether you’re a Friend or a Member, your data is held securely on a database for the purposes of administering our membership scheme. We NEVER sell your details to third parties, nor do we ever indulge in “hard sell” fundraising or direct mail. Full members will receive annual reminders for their subscription (unless you’ve paid by direct debit) and certain other mailings during the course of the year – AGM paperwork, for example. Friends will also receive an annual reminder (by email), which is necessary to reconfirm your contact details (a requirement of data protection regulations) to make sure they are up to date.
Your membership pack will include a detailed consent form for other ways we may use your data on occasion.
