The Health and Wellness Day is a one day seminar, designed by Rebekah Knight, one of our members who is a physiotherapist affected by CMT herself.
Each event is facilitated by a suitable neuro-physiotherapist from the local area, who will be introducing a full day event, packed with useful lectures on a variety of topics and practical exercise sessions.
The idea is to give you the tools and knowledge you need to be able to take control and manage your CMT more successfully. It is becoming apparent that exercise and fitness – at whatever level you can manage – are key to keeping mobile for the longer term. The final speaker, Donna DeWick, has CMT herself, but also takes part in all sorts of events, proving that, with some determination, it really can be done, despite CMT! She will join us in person, or via web-link, depending on the location of the event.
The exercises will cover a whole range of problems – and don’t worry, if you can’t manage them, we will be there to help you do them in the best way for you.
You are welcome to bring your partner/spouse to the event, but please – no children! We have no facilities for a children at these events, and the exercise sessions and content of the day is designed for adults only.
The cost includes refreshments, lunch, and a complimentary pack of information to take away with you.
If you would like any further information, don’t hesitate to contact me on email@example.com
